Tidewater red cypress is a very tight and dense grained wood with compact growth-ring patterns. Our milling process is designed to remove the sapwood and keep the valuable heartwood for logs and timbers, resulting in minimal shrinking and settling. BK Cypress’ log system features triple tongue-and-groove milling on the top and bottom of all milled log profiles. We offer many different log shapes and sizes, as well as corner systems. In addition, BK Cypress offers the options of logs with hand-hewning or chinking. Being a full-service sawmill/manufacturer, BK Cypress offers cut timbers, siding, trim lumber, tongue-and-groove paneling, flooring, etc. Here at BK Cypress Log Homes we are building a world-class design team.
